WHAT IS THE OFFICE LIKE?

  • The building is locked, so you will need to use the keypad to gain entry.
  • The door is heavy so please let me know if you need assistance which I can easily provide.
  • The building is typically quiet and uncrowded.
  • Take the elevator or door to stairs to go up to the 2nd floor.
  • Go down the hall, past the restrooms to Suite 204 on your left.
  • You will enter the waiting room with several chairs, a low colorful sofa, small tables, and soft instrumental music.
  • The office lighting is a combination of fluorescent and LED overhead. Alternative lighting is available.
  • The walls are a very light grey-blue and the floors have blue carpeting.
  • Typically, clients are seen one at a time; however, you may run into another family when entering or leaving the suite.
  • There is no receptionist or office staff; but I will be with you shortly for scheduled visits.
  • The door from the waiting room to the treatment area is locked to maintain confidentiality; but families always have access during their child’s session.
  • There are two treatment rooms:
    • Sensory-Motor Gym with blue mats on the floor and lots of different equipment and toys. Shoes are removed when in this room.
    • Table Room with different tables and chairs for structured work and assessments.
